CONTROLLER MODE Controller mode works together with a software Omada Controller or a hardware Cloud Controller, and is suitable for managing multiple Devices (EAPs,routers or switches) centrally. Controller mode allows you to configure and automatically synchronize unified wireless settings to all devices in the network. By default, Omada software uses self-signed certificates. If however you want to use custom certificates you can mount them into the container as /cert/tls.key and /cert/tls.crt. The tls.crt file needs to include the full chain of certificates, i.e. Cert, intermediate cert (s) and CA cert. This is compatible with kubernetes TLS secrets.

- I was running Omada Controller software for a while and finally decided to buy the device. I have different APs, including EAP245 v1. Got the controller, got it installed, migrated the configuration from the old one. That worked great. Then I have noticed that there was a newer firmware available.
- I have the Omada Software controller installed on an older laptop - A lenovo Thinkpad that's maybe 6-7 years old with a Skylake era i-5 and Windows 10 Pro. I installed the software, launched and performed setup. Both the router and AP were accessible and manageable during this process.
