Charity Fundraising
£12,000 Raised
Within the last 36 months Jeep Owners Club have raised over £12,000 for our chosen charities Mountain Rescue and Air Ambulance. Annually we hold our Summer Camp event and as we include green lanes in our itinerary each year, we donate proceeds from that event to the most local branch of these services. We aim to contribute back to the local community that hosts our gathering.
In just the past three years the Jeep Owners Club has raised and donated over £12K to our chosen charities. A feat that takes some decades to achieve was accomplished in under 36 months thanks our JOC members and club sponsors.
We are also a club affiliate member of GLASS, we have multiple regional GLASS reps in our club, and contribute an annual membership fee in order to maintain our green lanes.
While we have not had to call on Mountain Rescue ourselves for assistance, many members of the Jeep Owners Club are volunteers in their local 4×4 Rescue groups and the NHS by volunteering to drive nurses, consultants, etc. when snow or floods hit as they have no other means of getting to their patients.
