It’s best to start with a conjurer for this build. Start with +2 point in intelligence, +1 in wits, +1 in pyro and +1 in summoning. Focus on your intelligence, wits, memory, summoning, and pyro skills. Intelligence will be the most important stat, but you’ll need a lot of memory so that you don’t forget all of your skills! Divinity Original Sin 2 allows you to choose from 14 predefined classes and 14 different groups of abilities that can be used during fights. This in turn allows you to create dozens of team combinations that can, with better or worse results, be effective during fights (and outside of them). Also, get Tactical Retreat (Mages, Rangers, honestly everyone)/Cloak and Dagger (Rogues, Assassins)/Phoenix Dive (Tanks, Warriors) for all your characters ASAP. Hugely beneficial. Here's what I wrote about the game back in the Games of the Decade thread: Before I played Divinity: Original Sin II, I was never a fan of Isometric RPGs.

There can only be one God. The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken.
